April 3rd-7th

We went to CA with my mom and cousin Annie this weekend. It was so much fun and so relaxing. on Thursday my mom picked me and brandon up around 3:30ish and we drove up to prescott to pick up my cousin Annie. We left Prescott at about 8pm and headed to San Diego. we figured we would get there around 2 a.m. ish. well we ran into Alot of construction and didnt get to our resort until about 4am friday morning. We all planned on sleeping in on friday but that didn't happen we were all awake by 9am. the crazy thing was none of us were tired. My mom and Annie went walking around the Resort and on the beach while brandon and i finnished getting ready. we met them in the returant at the hotel and ate brunch at about 11am. after we ate we went to the pool and jacquzie. they have an arcade in the pool area and all the games are free it was way fun we played air hocky and the driving games. and layed out by the pool for a little over 3 hours. it was overcasted so we didn't really think to put sunscrean on. Well Brandon suffered the most that night he looked like a lobster. oh well it has gotten better. we all went up and took showers and cleaned up to go to dinner. we drove into La Jolla. they have a seal beach it is cool. here is a video.

My cousin brookie got married in sandiego in 2006 and she had pictures taken just down a ways from the seals so we went over there also it is very pretty. the waves were so big. Here is a cool pic of annie there..

we went and ate and the Hard Rock Cafe. and then stopped and the grocerie store to get milk for in the morning and we also got icecream for a treat later.

We got back to the hotel and went on a ferry that goes across the bay to another resort and back it was nice. we saw a ton of jelly fish in the water coming back. i guess the bay is just covered with them. and according to some guy that works at the hotel they dont sting but i have a hard time believing that. i tried to take a pic of the jelly fish here is is..



on saturday we went to sea world. annie has never been so she was very excited. we took a behind the sceans tour it was very neat. we got to see dolfins up close and we learned alot about the animals. here are some pics from our tour..

we went and saw the shows too. i got a great picture at the dolfin show of him jumping really high here it is..

the Shamu show was really cool. it was the first night of the Shamu rocks night show. those animals are so amazing. here are a few pics from that shoe too..

Emme

okay so my mom got a new puppy her name is emme she is a welch corgi. her name is Emme. she is very cute. but.......

Gizmo doesnt like her. i feel so sad when i see him he looks as if he has been betrayed or like he is not wanted anymore. i almost cryed b/c he looked so depressed.

and to top it off emme jumped at his face and scratched his cornia so now he can't see very well and he is even more nervous. poor Gizmo.

on Saturday 3-22-08 we went to my uncle Charles Arnett's funeral. he is my great grandpa's brother. i was sad to here he had passed away because he sealed Brandon and i when we got married. but he is in a better place. his youngest son made a documentary about his life and he sowed it at harkins theaters on Monday 3-24-08 so we went and saws it. Uncle Charles was a pilot in WWII. his plane was shot down and he was a POW for about 11 mo. i think don't quote me on that but he has a website that you can check out it is all about his crew. the website is www.492ndbombgroup.com

i went to lunch with my mom, JoAnn, and liz. we went to The Grand Lux Cafe(http://grandluxcafe.com/) it just recently opened in Scottsdale. We were excited because it is one of the restaurants that we went to when we were in Chicago a couple years ago. it is very good i strongly suggest trying it. they have the best crem brule

After we ate we walked around the mall for a little while. on our way home Grandpa called and wanted to go to dinner. it felt like we had just eaten b/c we were so full still from lunch. but we went to Ruby Tuesday's they have a great salad bar.
