Craft Room

okay so i dont think i posted anything about Bandon and I moving out of our apartment and into his Brothers condo. so anyway we moved and now we have a 3 bedroom place. which we love all the space!!! Brandon has "The Den" as he calls it, and i have "The Craft Room" which up until yesterday has been more of the crap room. ;>

I am very excited i was driving home from Joann's Fabric getting things for my latest project and i there was a garage sale on the side of the road. i glanced over and saw the mst amazing hutch. so of course i pulled a U-Turn. I asked them how much this hutch was and they told me $30 fr the set it also came with a little side table. So long story short i hurried home got Brandon went to the ATM and got my hutch. here it is....

i am so excited it finnishes off this room so perfectly. and now it is a true craft room.

Ok so here is the story......

So my cousin Alyssa just got married. Her and her husband met up at BYU. The story goes that their first conversation was over a Car and Driver magazine. So my uncle knew some people with some very cool cars and so he surprised Alyssa nad Tyler with a lawn full of cars at their reception. it was pretty crazy.

Anyway i was lucky enough to get to sit in the Lamborghini and take my picture.

3 year anniversary Trip

Sedona, Flagstaff, Urgent Care, Grand Canyon, Pine, Home.


Brandon planned a surprise trip for us to go up north. it was very fun. we had a few set backs though. i got very sick.


We left on Friday afternoon. we drove through sedona just to see what it was like . neither Brandon or i have been there. it was so pretty. we are already wanting to plan another trip to go back. here are some pics..



then we went to flagstaff where we stayed at the little america Hotel http://www.littleamerica.com/flagstaff/. it was very nice. here are some pictures of our room. we had a forest view it is definitely a place we will go back to.


we went to dinner at Brandy's Restaurant(http://www.brandysrestaurant.com/) it was very good.there was so much food we couldn't eat it all.


the next morning we had breakfast delivered to our room b/c i wasn't feeling very well i had a fever the night before etc.. our food was very good. here we are eating bfast. we are such dorks;)











we got ready and checked out of the hotel and headed up to the Grand Canyon. just as we got outside of flagstaff my back really started to hurt. we stopped in Williams because there was no way i could make a 2hr drive to the Grand canyon. we are so lucky we found an urgent care and we found out i had a kidney infection. the dr gave me antibiotics and pain meds to get through the weekend.










after our little detour we were ff to the G.C. here are some of our pics. the 1st few i look terrible b/c the meds haven't quite kicked in yet. by the end of our G.C. trip i could smile.

we took the scenic route through the grand canyon then we drove back through flagstaff and down to our cabin in Pine. where we stayed the night at grandma and grandpas. i was still pretty sick so it was nice to have grandma there to take care f me. she is very good at doing that. thanks grandma your the best. don't get me wrong Brandon is a good Dr but gmas have a special touch.

that was the end of our trip. we drove home Sunday afternoon.

Despite all our little set backs with me being sick we had a great trip. i still can't believe we have been married for 3 years. I Love Brandon so much and am so grateful for him.

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a fun weekend on saturday we went to a surprise party for my mom's best friend & my second mom Joann! she was very surprised. it was fun.

After the party we drove up to our cabin. on our way up we almost hit an elk. the stupid thing was standing in the middle of the road and wouldn't move. i am just glad i wasn't driving because it scared the crap out of me. that was the highlight of the drive along with singing disney songs;) Brandonn is a great singer ;)

Okay so life has been a little busy the last few months so i havent posted anything in a while.

so here is a long update on what we have been up to......

May 26th

we went to the park with our friends Chris, Mindi, and there son Riley. we ate lunch then we fed the ducks and riley chased the pigeons.

May 31st

Brandon and i donated blood for the 1st time. it was fun except for my vein collapsed 3 times and i ended up having my arm bruised for a week. it was a fun experience. her eis a pic of my arm

June 18th

i got Lasik eye surgery. i am so excited i dont have to wear glasses or contacts anymore. i went from being blind to having 20/20 vision. it is so amazing. i woke up the next morning and could see perfectly. i recomend getting lasik if you wear glasses or contacts it is totally worth it. here is kinda a grose picture of my eye the next morning.

and here are the goofy goggles i had to wear for 2 weeks while i slept.

July 3rd

Brandon had a Birthday!!!!

(This is just a silly pic. we were in target and brandon was testing this chair out it rocked all the way back and he got stuck it was funny)

He is now 3 years away from being 30.(27) wow i married an old man;) j/k. i love him so much. Happy birthday babe!

we went up to our cabin for his bday and for the 4th. it was fun my cousins came up also. it hailed the day we got up there . here is a pic of the porch as it was hailing.

and it rained everyday the rest of the weekend. it was great to get out of the heat

we went into paysn for fireworks on the 4th. we had the best seats. we found this little drive off of a road and it took us up on a hill. the firworks were right in front of us. it was great.

Just before we left to go to the cabin Brandon and i got a phone call from his brother Tanner who lives in New York asking us again if we would move into his condo in mesa. he said they are having trouble renting it out. that same day we recived a notice at our apartment that our lease was up and we had to let them know by july 10th if we would be staying or moving. sooo..... by the end of the weekend we decided to move AGAIN!

So we have moved 5 Times sice we have been married and next month we will be married 3 years. i think that is too many times......

So we are now living in a 3 bedroom condo. It is great. brandon has The DEN. and i have my CRAFT room. we are excited to have the extra space. i dont know how all our crap fit in a 1 bedroom apartment. i will post pics of our new place as son as i finnish decorating.;)

August 1st-2nd

my friend mindi and i went to the Breaking dawn Borders book party. it was so fun. i will post pics later. my mom was out of town so we went over to her house after the party and stayed up all night reading the book. we didn't go home till aroung 11:30 on august 2nd.

when i got home i hurried and got ready to leave to go up to our cabin. we went and visited my grandpa because he had been in the hospital. he is doing much better. but he sure did give me a scare. grandpa if you read this you better take care of yourself!!! love ya

and yes i finnished the book sunday and i loved it. i would recomend the Twilight seriese to anyone.

08-08-08

my cousin jeffery turned 8 years old on 8-8-08. we had his baptism on that night. he is growning up so fast. my Nannie and i were reminicing about when i gt to go with my aunt and Uncle Tracy and Dian to go pick him up at the Hospital. (FYI- he was adopted and so was i) it was so neat to be able to see the process of taking him home. i will never forget it.

the olympics started! GO USA!!!!

August 9th

My cousin Alyssa went thru the temple for the first time. she is getting maried in 2 weeks at the SLC temple. Brandon and i went and supported her. and then we all went back to my aunt and uncles for dinner afterward.

August 10th

Happy Birthday Papito!!
